Save
6 Tons
of CO2 emissions a year
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Turn your waste into savings
Insert your organic waste into the digester via the inlet sink
2. Clean cooking gas generated daily
Using anaerobic digestion, the system decomposes waste and transforms it into renewable biogas for cooking
3. Collect rich liquid bio - fertilizer
Collect rich liquid bio fertilizer containing all the essential elements needed for healthy plant growth

FAQ
HomeBiogas 2 can be fed with animal manure or food waste or human waste in the following quantities on a daily basis.
Food waste: up to 6 liters per day.
Animal manure: up to 15 liters per day mixed with 30 liters of water.
Human waste: up to 25 toilet flushes per day and up to 6 liters of food waste per day.
The system has two main outputs:
- 700L of biogas per day
- Fertilizer:
- 6 liters – if fed only with food waste.
- 30 liters – if fed with human waste.
- 45 liters – if fed with animal manure.
HomeBiogas system, in general, should be placed outdoors only in a place where it can get maximum sunlight (not in the shade) and on a stable floor free from any obstructions.
It is important to place your system close to a water source and to have a free 0.5 meter from each of the system’s sides to have easy access to the system.
The stove can be up to 7 meters from the system.
No, grass clippings, compost, tree leaves can not be added to the unit as it takes much time to be digested and will end up consuming more space of your digester and interrupting the biogas production.
All HomeBiogas units should not be moved, due to the fact that they need to be emptied and re-activated afterward, so instead of moving the system into a warmer place, you can place it outside inside a greenhouse that is very well ventilated.
Please note: placing a unit in a greenhouse does not guarantee/ mean that your system will function during colder times.
Nothing. The bacteria will wait for you to feed it considering that you have suitable climate conditions of at least 20C/ 68F.
CLIMATE
Anywhere where the average day/ night temperature is at least 20C/ 68F. When the temperature drops below this temperature, you can:
- Add a water heater
- Insulate the digester
- Place in a greenhouse (with ventilation on the top)
- Feed with half the daily recommended amount, if you still have flammable gas production
Remember: following the above suggestions does not guarantee that your system will operate in colder climates or temperatures.
